My cousin Pat told me about the movie Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead. I was inspired by the movie, that I decided to take a plunge out of my comfort zone into the world of juicing.
I tried if for five days and I will admit I could tell the difference. I could think clearer (brain fog..mind all over the place) and I had energy.
I feel off the bandwagon. That old sub-conscious mind can mess you up with the negative thoughts and self-sabotaging messages that replays in your head. I will not be discouraged. It may be a minor set back but that is setup for a great comeback.
It good is to juice once in awhile to get rid of toxins. We already know what to do to be healthy. It is about having a made up mind and believing in yourself and the source within to make it happen.
That old dirty mind telling you to go ahead and eat that slice of cake or it will not hurt you to drink that bottle of beer while looking at the pot belly.
It's OK to slip and indulge once in awhile, but just get back up and get back into the game. The main objective is to be the best you, take care of yourself and have peace of mind. STAY POSITIVE and KEEP MOVING DESPITE THE OBSTACLES.
The basic formula to losing weight is to burn off more than you take in. So if you eat that pint of Ben and Jerry by yourself get up and walk it off or just move that body the best way you can (yep, I ate the pint of ice cream ).
A friend who is physically fit and is a fabulous baby-boomer, told me about Leslie Sansone "Walk at Home" so now you have no excuse rain, sleet or snow get off your blessed assurance and GO!!!.
